Occupational diseases are health problems that can affect workers because of the type of work they do. Last year, Workplace Safety North – along with the Occupational Cancer Research Centre – released three new posters showing the top occupational disease risks in the forestry, mining, and pulp and paper sectors. This week’s Blog takes a closer look at this collaboration and talks about the importance of raising awareness of safety in the workplace.
