CHROME ORE LUMP

CHROME ORE LUMP

Chrome ore serves as the primary material for the production of Ferrochrome, which is created through the electric arc melting of chromite, an iron magnesium chromium oxide and a key source of chromium.

The global Ferrochrome market heavily relies on stainless steel production, with approximately 80% of the world's Ferrochrome being used in this sector.

UNIMINES offers direct supply of Chrome ore from our mines to major Chinese ports, providing a range of qualities and quantities to meet varying requirements.

Our mining operation spans 50km in length and covers an area of 400km2, supported by 5 exploration and excavation licenses. Each license encompasses 40-50 high-grade Chrome ore deposits reaching depths of up to 100m.

Our standard specifications are as follows:

- Chromium Oxide (Cr2O3): 36% to 44%
- Chromium to Iron (Cr/Fe) ratio: Minimum 2.6/1
- Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3): Maximum 16%
- Iron Oxide (FeO): Maximum 16.5%
- Magnesium Oxide (MgO): Maximum 24%
- Silicon Dioxide (SiO2): Maximum 12.5%
- Phosphorus/Sulfur (P/S): 0.09%
